Valerie’s blend of yoga instruction is inspired by her own personal practice, background in hatha yoga and her passion to create an inclusive yoga community. To hone in the importance of creating an inclusive environment, Valerie has completed training in the Accessible Yoga Conference and Yoga For All. Everyone comes to the mat with different abilities and intentions, therefore students are encouraged to explore poses (and variations), to meet their needs.
The classes Valerie teaches have a mindful approach by connecting breath, movement and alignment. Students have described Valerie and her teaching as knowledgeable, fluid, gentle and caring. It was mentioned that “she teaches clearly and effectively, always learning how to best communicate with her students, and she continually works to find new ways to best serve her students through her love and passion for yoga”.
