Frequently Asked Questions

Get your questions answered before you register for Yoga For All.

How does the payment plan work?

The first payment will be deducted immediately when you register. Subsequent payments will come out every 30 days, from the day you register.

Can I earn CEUs with this course?

Yes, when you complete the training requirements, you will receive a certificate that you can register for 35 continuing education hours through Yoga Alliance. Registration with Yoga Alliance is completely optional.

Do I have to be a 200-hour yoga teacher to take this course?

No. The training is geared toward teachers (or teacher trainees), but you don’t have to be a teacher to take the course. You can also take it before you complete your 200-hour certification. If you are in training now, and complete Yoga For All and your 200-hour training within the same year, you can still get your 35 continuing education hours with Yoga Alliance.

How long do we get access to the material?

All the course materials, including downloads, videos, and more are yours to keep. Forever. You’ll have access to the private Facebook group (and to questions about the course content with Dianne and Amber) as long as you would like.

What is the time commitment for this course?

The course content is distributed every Monday for 6 weeks. Plan to spend between 1-4 hours each week to watch the videos, digest the content and complete the homework. That being said, you don’t have to finish the course within 6 weeks. You have one year from the date we start the course to complete the course requirements, get your certificate, and register your CEUs with Yoga Alliance (if desired). You can work at your own pace. And you can download anything from the course and you have access to the course material forever.

Accessible Yoga Training

Focus: creating integrated classes where folks with disabilities/mobility limitations can practice alongside non-disabled students
Instructors: Jivana Heyman delivers most of the content. Guest lecturers present 30 min to 1 hour sessions.
Designed as a “survey course” on other topics in accessibility like race equity, consent, etc. with very short overview sessions (1-2 hours each). See all topics covered here.
Live training held through Zoom over the course of 4-5 weeks (good if you want to learn in community / more of a “classroom” setting)
30 hours CEU

Is this a “live” course? Can I take it whenever I like?

Each week, you’ll receive a mixture of self-paced online videos: video lectures, slide presentations, and asana videos. Every module has a “take action” at the end, which includes reflection prompts and a chance to ask your questions in our Facebook group, or through email. There are also many downloadable bonuses like the Yoga For All teacher training manual, vinyasa sequences for those who are recovering from injuries, class planning templates, and much more. You have one year to finish the course, so you can learn at your own pace!

Erin DolanThe Yoga for All Training teaches you how to
adapt any pose for any body and takes you back
to the true roots of yoga. As a teacher, I feel so
much more confident offering adaptations for
whoever shows up in my classes. This course will
allow you to offer yoga to a much wider group
of people with confidence. It may just change the
way you look at your own body and practice too.
