Bio
Greetings, my name is Cara. My pronouns are she/her or they/them. I currently live on traditional Haudenosaunee, Anishinabewaki, Attiwonderonk and Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation land. I am a yoga teacher, studio manager, body peace guide and artist.
I have lived my entire life in a larger body and spent most of my life feeling as though I was unworthy because of my size. My journey with movement and yoga has led me to make peace with my body, and it is my dream and my goal to help other people do the same.
My style of teaching focuses on meeting folx where they are and helping them build strength and flexibility, both in body and mind. I love to challenge pre-conceived notions of what people in bigger bodies are capable of.
