I started practicing yoga in 2005, and fell in love! Even though my balance was horrible and I could barely touch my toes, I kept coming back each week. I was NEVER an “athletic” person, but wanted to stay active. Yoga allowed me to feel like I was doing something good for myself. Once I realized yoga was truly a mind-body experience, my outlook on fitness totally changed. Yoga is very forgiving and always welcomes you back with open arms.
What’s the saying “showing up is half the battle”, or showing up on your mat! It’s really is an accurate saying. Yoga is for every BODY. I completed my 200 Hr Yoga Teacher Training in 2014 and also became certified as a Core Barre Instructor. I love being around people and sharing all the wonderful benefits that yoga can bring into a person’s life. We all have a light that resides within us, let’s share the light.
