Meghan has been practicing yoga for the better part of 10 years. She strongly believes yoga should be available to all bodies. In the last few years, she’s noticed the need for more body diversity in the yoga world. So, she accepted her own challenge and in 2015 she enrolled in Yogawood’s 200 hour Teacher Training program. Meghan studied under Maiga Millbourne and Yogawood’s founder, Beth Filla. In 2016, her diligence paid off and she became a certified Vinyasa yoga teacher.
Since finishing her 200 hour teacher training in April, Meghan is in the process of getting her “Yoga for All” certification with guidance from the program creators Dianne Bondy and Amber Karnes. “Yoga for All” focuses on modifications that help yoga become accessible to all body-types and levels of yoga experience.
Meghan lives in Collingswood with her husband and 2 black cats that will all make cameo appearances in stories during her class. In her spare time, she enjoys making vegan treats and spending quality time with family and friends. She also loves to make people laugh. Her goal is to have you leave her class with a happy heart and a smile on your face.
