Felicia Gross-Bellamy completed her 200-hour RYT certification through the Jivan Yoga Teacher Training at Baltimore Yoga Village, is a Certified Yoga for All Teacher, and holds her Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Social Work with a specialization in Aging. She is also credentialed as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of Maryland.
Felicia decided to pursue Yoga earlier in life as a self-care tool to help maintain her work-life balance and peace of mind. Currently, as a professional working in the community, she uses the practice of Yoga to help promote healthy aging by adapting Yoga postures to meet the physical abilities of her clients, while also offering Yoga for All, Beginner, and Mixed Level Hatha Yoga classes to community members to meet them where they are. Felicia strives to encourage individuals to learn how they can benefit from cultivating a Yoga practice of their own, accepting and exploring their bodies in a non-judgmental way, regardless of age, ability, racial identity, body type, sexual orientation, or background.
