Everitt has been teaching yoga and playing the gong for over ten years and is a sound therapist with specialized training in Tibetan Bowls and Gongs.
He completed the Integrative Medicine Oncology Training at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Texas using yoga and sound for healing. He is a certified instructor in using healing Tibetan bowls and has trained students in their use, and offers a certificate of completion. Everitt is a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher in both Kundalini and Hatha Yoga, as well as a certified Chair Yoga Instructor with advanced training in Restorative Yoga. He is a practicing I-Rest Yoga Nidra teacher as well as a certified teacher of Senior's Yoga, and is a CertifiedYoga Therapy, C-IAYT. He conducts monthly Sound Healing groups and sessions in Chakra Therapy. He has taught workshops and lead classes in England and India.
He is the founder of Sound Therapy of Austin that specializes in applying the techniques of therapeutic yoga with the sound of the gong and singing bowls. He is the artist of CDs on Yoga Nidra, "Infinite Awakening" and sound healing, "Healing Tibetan Bowls". He has performed with Mehtab onthe "Galactic Gong"CD.
